Penny Walker is an independent facilitator, trainer, coach and consultant working to bring about change for sustainable development.
For the first ten years of her career, Penny was a campaigner with Friends of the Earth, as a local group activist, office volunteer and staff member.
She changed direction as she became interested in helping people create change from inside the organisations which need to change the most. She has worked as an independent consultant since 1996. You can read an interview with Penny in Blue&Green Tomorrow.
She’s a self-confessed learning monster, constantly on the look out for ways to develop her skills and get better at what she does. As well as getting more training in training skills, facilitation, group work, coaching and environmental subjects, she’s also done a bit of life drawing and (once) made fire using a bow drill, while on a bushcraft weekend.
She lives in North London with her husband, two daughters and a vegetable garden.
